Primary Elements Polished Pigments ™ are ground pure color (no filler) with
mica powder added for sparkle. Use on paste for an added "sparkle" to your work
- it is beautiful, and so easy. It can be used on any of the opaque pastes, but
is especially attractive on the black. It will give your piece depth and a
special finishing touch to your artwork. We have a couple of samples at the
bottom of the page - be sure to check them out. Wish the "sparkle" showed up
better in the scan, but guess you will have to use your imagination a bit.
Instructions for using the Pigment Powders: Paste emboss your design and let
dry for approximately 30 minutes. Reposition stencil and tap a large stencil
brush or finger dauber onto a Palette Stamp and Stick Gluepad (available on
page 4 of accessories,) then onto design area.
Remove stencil and clean with water. Again reposition stencil, load a small
stencil brush with one of the iridescent powders by dipping the flat end of the
brush into the jar. Before tapping the pigment powder onto the design, tap the
brush bristles against a paper towel. This will load the pigment into the brush
bristles. Apply with a rouging technique, starting at the edge where you want
more color depth.
