Karen W of Illinois put her creativity to work with the
popular LJ849 Bare Trees stencil and came up with these outstanding cards.
Each one is done differently, and definitely leaves a different impression.
The one on the upper left is first paste embossed using Dreamweaver Gold
Embossing Paste on black paper, then gold - leafed - absolutely gorgeous!
The card on the upper right is paste embossed with Gold, then a variety of
colored glitters applied while paste is still wet. Trees on the lower left
were done by pasting with Gold paste, then stippling color over when dry.
Can't you just see the light shining through the trees? So often it is easy
to get "stuck" on one particular technique and we're especially grateful to
Karen for giving us some variety while using only one stencil. |
